Talk gaming, what are you playing?

GTA V has consumed my soul for the most part, love the game, Trevor is by far the best character in the last 5 years of gaming, if not in the top 5 best character in general.

Also picked up a shitload of PS2 games last week. I will make the list later, or next year Smile

Trevor is my favorite character in GTAV. Without this character like him on GTAV, the story would be boring. He's such a psychopath but i still love this character. Big Grin

I like all the characters in GTA V, but Trevor has that, I am a psychopath, but I can make you laugh mentality.

One part that made me laugh for like 10 minutes straight.

You pull up to Franklin's house, and his aunt is there, Trevor is all hitting on her, and Franklin says something to his aunt, I can't remember the actual dialog, his aunt says "shut the fuck up" all of a sudden Trevor looks at Franklin and says "YEAH SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Just little dialog like that, made me fucking laugh.

I personally laughed my ass off at every scene at Floyd's apartment, including the fucked up culmination of that plotline. The running Canadian joke in the rampage missions was pretty funny too. Trevor was amazing. I dressed him up in the purple suit and pretended he was the Joker as I went around destroying NPC lives.

Have you guys seen the look of the cast for Sonic Boom, the latest in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise? Knuckles looks like a typical douchebag on steroids always posting selfies on Facebook. Tails looks...different; not better or worse than his original form, but different.

There also appears to be a new show coming out for it, and I honestly haven't seen an episode in a long time.

I think it looks alright, but nothing special, hopefully it's a good game, the last few Sonic games have been enjoyable for the most part.

Why don't you play the PS2?

Xbone is even worst than the PS3.

I been doing a lot of game hunting lately. My recent pick up.

PS3:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Clive Barker's Jericho
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Rainbow Six Vegas 2

PS2:
Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe 2
Killswitch
Headhunter
Tekken Tag Tournament
Corvette
Rygar

These games are all used, and been getting some damn good deals on PS2 games, for under $10, some as low as $2.

Probably my last big game hunt for a while, need to put money to other things, etc.

Also beat GTA V recently, fucking love that game.

I loved both Dragon Age games, although the first one was far superior to the second. The biggest issue I had with Dragon Age 2 was continuity, like why did the Qunari suddenly grow horns? I hope Dragon Age 3 is a return to the form of the first game, since it is one of the biggest games I'm looking forward to this year, along with The Witcher 3.

Does anyone play F2p pc games like Blacklight Retribution or Combat Arm (more like Hacker Arm)? Well the funny thing is that i''ve been hearing people calling each other hacker because someone is good on the other team while they're not. I know it gets annoying most of the time but its funny as hell when someone calling you a hacker because you owning them. ROFL

I love when free to play FPS overused words "FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!!!!" when they throwing grenades. I know its a classic line on Counter Strike when people throw grenades but that possessively makes me saying that repeatedly when i hear that for over 3 hours of gaming. Fire in the hole, fire in the hole, fire in the hole! Yeah sounds like a song that could of been made.

I'm almost done beating the first Grandia game, which surprisingly turned out to be quite an enjoyable experience. Although a lot of people will judge it by its simple plot, the characters are all still pretty unique.

Also, the battle system is pretty cool, which has a gauge (kinda similar to Final Fantasy's Active Time Battle) that lets the player know who will be the first character to attack or cast a spell. If someone gets stunned or knocked out hard by an enemy, their gauge spot will be pushed back, canceling whatever action that character was supposed to perform.

Most of all, I really am digging the game's way of learning techniques and magic spells. Basically, you need to find Mana Eggs to buy magic (they're very far and few between, so don't miss out), and then you have to assign that elemental spell to a character of choice. If you want to obtain new skills and stat boosts, you will have to cast a spell or technique that pertains to the element(s) you want to develop. Just like experience points are needed to level a character's stats, you'll need them to also level the elements up.

The easiest element to level up is the Water element, since "Heal" and other recovery spells are derived from that element. You can do this trick this while on the dungeon field, of course, so getting hit by damaging tiles and objects will help speed up the process. Lose some health, heal with your spells, go to restore the whole team at one of the save points, and then repeat.

Right now I am playing Tales Of The Abyss on Ninetendo 3DS. I originally played it on the PS2 with my brother, great game, but I only got to help in battles. The animation could have been better, but like most Tales games, it has a great storyline, and I love the battle style. After I defeat it, I'm going to play Tales Of Eternia, my favorite of the Tales series

I started playing the new South Park RPG, which is surprisingly good. Kind of like Super Mario RPG/Paper Mario set in the South Park world, with references to a ridiculous amount of material from the show spanning every season (you can find items like Antonio Banderas Blow Up Sex Doll in Cartman's mom's room, and attempting to open Stan's closet is met with Tom Cruise shouting "I'm never coming out!" Not to mention a sside quest where you have to defeat a horde of Mongorians for the owner of the City Wok). The game gives you a nearly complete map of the town of South Park (with Canada just over a distant hill) to explore with your own self made silent hero who can be one of four classes: Warrior, Mage, Thief, or Jew. Stylistically, it looks exactly like a South Park episode and was completely written and directed by Trey and Matt. I usually end up hating licensed games like this, but this one was a pleasant surprise which came out of nowhere. Gameplay is solid if you like turn based RPGs (they even make fun of the turn based system from the get-go: "You have to wait your turn, you know, like in the Middle Ages. I know it's gay, but that's the rules!"). I probably wouldn't recommend it if you don't like South Park or turn based RPGs, but if you like either one even a bit, it's a pretty awesome game.

I played a little bit of the South Park: The Stick Of Truth at a friends. It's fun, and I haven't been a South Park fan since I was 19, and that was 6 years ago, I thought the show went heavily downhill, but this game was done very well. I was impressed. I plan to pick it up myself hopefully soon.

The show has been a bit more hit and miss in recent years, but I still enjoy it. I just thought it was amazing how many references they managed to pack into a single hour of my gameplay experience. Of course I spent that whole hour exploring the town instead of actually doing quests (except the Mongorian quest)

I agree about the atmosphere. The Souls and King's Field series have a great dark and depressing atmosphere. I also think the exploration is really fun in both series. I finished Dark Souls II a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed it like the other two Souls games.

A month ago, I started playing the new Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell game which is named Blacklist. It has great gameplay and really tough opponents and situations in the missions you take. I was looking for a stealth/fighting game when I finished playing Hitman: Blood Money and this is by far one of the best games I've played these days.

Does anyone know any free online multiplayer games that I can try out? I'm not much into shooting games, so perhaps something closer to RPGs (action or turn-based).

Also, it's imperative that the games recommended don't suck!

You should check out my game, Runic Cipher. It's heavily inspired by the old Final Fantasy games, as well as several other JRPGs. A playable demo is also ready.

Going old school fps with Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, Shadow Warrior, and Blood. I was thinking about getting Duke Nukem 3D Megaton edition on steam but i'm not sure yet because i wanna get the other game which is Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare on Steam. Maybe i should get old school fps game instead of modern shooter?
