Savage Thrust was an American speed/thrash metal band that formed in New York City in the year 1984. From there to their sole LP release, 1990's Eat 'Em Raw, a string of demos were recorded (two more were released in 1991). The song "The Crown of Thorns" was featured on the 1986 Speed Metal Hell II compilation from New Renaissance Records.

The band had two reunion shows in 2001 at L'Amours in Brooklyn, New York City. As of this time, the band is currently working a possible reunion with members Mike Smith, Pat Donofrio, Rob Antilla, and Mike Puch.
